Ambiente has been committed to ethically sourcing our produce since we first opened our doors in Malton in 2007. We support British farmers, which is why we source our meat from within the United Kingdom where possible. As some of our dishes contain authentic Spanish ingredients that wouldn’t be the same with a substitute, like the Morcilla in our Black Pudding Scotch Eggs and our Leeds Txuleta steak, we source these from high welfare suppliers in Spain.

We work closely with our suppliers to ensure that our meat & poultry meets our high welfare standards and, through our good working relationship with them, we are confident that our meat is ethically sourced and can be traced to within a 40-mile radius of York. We only buy meat from suppliers we trust.
